They Said We Couldn’t. We Did.
A MESSAGE FROM OUR FOUNDER:
You’re probably getting flooded with BLACK FRIDAY/CYBER MONDAY emails right now, so I’ll get straight to the point.
Your dollar means so much.
We’re a small, family-run brand born from a dream to do something different, something that matters and is truly purpose-led. From the beginning, I kept hearing the same thing: “Made in America, Sustainability, Women-Led, Black-Owned, Social Impact—this all sounds great, but PEOPLE ONLY CARE ABOUT PRICE.”
They said I couldn’t build a brand that held all of those values and still be accessible, I can’t make quality product at an affordable price in the USA.
They said we couldn’t do it. And we did.
We make premium, long-lasting garments in local factories at a price that respects you and the people who make them.
We carry these tags—Made in America, Sustainability, Women-Led, Black-Owned, Social Impact—because they matter to us. And we believe they matter to you too.
So when you shop with us, you’re not just buying denim. You’re supporting an artisanal, independent brand, a local community of makers, and a social cause rooted in justice.
After more than 20 years designing for other brands, I didn’t see anyone like me doing this, in this way. So I decided to become the example. I want the next generation to look at OAK & ACORN and know:
If I can do it, you can do it. YOU ARE ME.
With Love & Gratitude,
